I've had a few emails asking for clarification on how to get to the Jack Pine Trail.
The Jack Pine Trail is on Moodie Drive. About the closest address that I could get with the maps app on iPhone is 827 Moodie Drive.
On Google Maps, it is between 679 and 911 Moodie Drive.
Google Maps also gave me the following latitude, longitude: 45.2932,-75.81605
Best set of directions with the current construction is:
1. Take 417 East to the 416
2. Take 416 South to West Hunt Club
3. Turn right (west) on to West Hunt Club.
4. Travel on West Hunt Club until the first lights (Moodie Drive) and turn left (south) onto Moodie Drive.
5. Start looking for a big sign saying "Jack Pine Trail" on your left. It is just in front of the parking lot entrance.
You will pass a parking lot on your left, the "Beaver Trail" on your right and the "Wild Bird Care Center" (734 Moodie) on your right before you get to the Jack Pine Trail.
If you're having any trouble trying to find the trail, please give me a call on my cell phone: 613-866-3474.
Also, please try and have your Beavers go to the bathroom before coming to the trail. There is an outhouse at the parking lot if anyone needs to go, but, you'll need a flashlight :)
